STARLING is a polycentric modular knee joint with mechanical lock for K2-K3 activity level people. 
 
INDICATIONS FOR USE
This knee joint is designed for patients with transfemoral and knee disarticulation amputation. 
 
MAIN FUNCTIONS AND FEATURES
1.  Stance phase stability is achieved through polycentric kinematics (or geometrical lock).
2.  Swing phase control is adjustable using the extension assist spring.
3.  The extension promoter reduces excessive heel rise and promotes faster knee extension.
4.  The damping function provides a smooth gait and ensures that there is no terminal impact on extension.
